AVISA VOLUNTEERS

Join AVISA to Fight Illiteracy in Cameroon and Across Africa

The AVISA Volunteer Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of the less privileged in Cameroon. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in promoting AVISA’s educational scholarship and business opportunities programs, helping to fight illiteracy across all 10 regions of the country.

Volunteers engage with local communities, schools, and partners to spread awareness, onboard beneficiaries, and ensure that educational opportunities reach those in need. Through outreach, communication, and teamwork, AVISA volunteers help transform lives by providing access to education and creating pathways for a brighter future. Volunteers also enjoy incentives, commissions, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITY

Onboarding Partners

Volunteers are responsible for identifying and onboarding partners who will collaborate with AVISA to expand the impact of the scholarship and business opportunities program. This includes reaching out to schools, businesses, and other organizations that align with AVISA’s goals. Volunteers are incentivized through commissions and bonuses based on the number of partners they onboard.

Engaging School Principals

As part of the ambassador program, volunteers must establish relationships with school principals, especially in public schools, to ensure that all students have access to the opportunities offered by AVISA. This involves explaining the program and encouraging schools to participate.

Managing Registrations

Volunteers help manage the registration process for potential scholarship and business opportunity applicants. They assist individuals with understanding the process and requirements and ensure smooth enrollment.

Promoting AVISA Programs

Volunteers are tasked with raising awareness of AVISA’s educational scholarships and business opportunities. They must actively promote these programs within their communities, using social media, local events, and one-on-one outreach to ensure that the target audience, particularly the less privileged, is reached.

Facilitating Communication

Volunteers act as the communication bridge between AVISA and its beneficiaries, partners, and the public. They need to be well-informed about the organization’s programs and objectives to effectively communicate and clarify any doubts or inquiries.

Tracking and Reporting

Volunteers are responsible for tracking their outreach efforts, maintaining records of onboarded partners, and reporting back to AVISA. This ensures accountability and helps measure the effectiveness of the program’s implementation.
