TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AVISA FUND A CHILD TO SCHOOL

1. Introduction

Welcome to AVISA Fund a Child to School, a feature within the AVISA mobile application that connects donors with trusted and verified orphanages to support the education of orphans in Cameroon and across Africa. By using this platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions governing the use of the Fund a Child to School feature.

2. Eligibility and Registration.

For Orphanages

  • Only legally registered orphanages are eligible to participate in the AVISA Fund a Child program.
  • All orphanages must sign a legal partnership agreement with AVISA before their accounts can be approved.
  • Orphanages must provide accurate and verifiable information about their institution and the children they onboard.
  • Orphanages must comply with AVISA’s transparency policies to ensure the responsible use of funds received.

For Donors

  • By making a donation, the donor acknowledges that all funds go directly to the approved orphanages for the education of the children.

3. Orphanage Obligations

  • All participating orphanages must provide and regularly update detailed profiles of the orphans, including:
  • Names, gender, age, educational level, and tuition feesA child description explaining their background and needsRecent pictures and videos to provide transparency for donorsOrphanages must submit annual academic progress reports and updates on sponsored children to AVISA.Orphanages must engage in digital content creation (such as storytelling, singing, dancing, and short drama skits) to raise awareness and encourage donor participation.
  • Failure to comply with AVISA’s policies may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

4. Donor Protection & Fund Management

  • Donations are processed securely and transferred directly to the orphanages for their orphans’ educational needs.
  • AVISA verifies and approves all orphanages before allowing them to receive donations.Donors will receive regular updates from sponsored children, including thank-you messages, photos, videos, and academic progress reports.AVISA charges a 15% platform fee per donation to cover operational and technical expenses.
  • Orphanages must not misuse funds for non-educational purposes; failure to comply may lead to immediate termination from the platform.

5. Fraud Prevention & Transparency

  • No orphanage can operate on the platform without an official AVISA partnership agreement.
  • Any orphanage or individual found engaging in fraudulent activity will be permanently banned and reported to authorities.AVISA conducts periodic performance evaluations and may request additional verification from orphanages to maintain transparency.
  • Any suspicious activity reported by donors will be immediately investigated by AVISA.

6. Digital Content & Monetization

  • Orphanages may use their social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) to share creative content and engage potential donors.
  • Social media monetization earnings belong 100% to the orphanage and will not be subject to AVISA’s platform fees.

7. Termination & Suspension

AVISA reserves the right to suspend or terminate an orphanage’s participation if:

They fail to comply with AVISA’s transparency and reporting requirements.

8. Privacy Policy & Data Protection

  • They are found to be misusing donations for unauthorized purposes.
  • They provide false or misleading information about the orphans under their care.
  • AVISA is committed to protecting the privacy of all users, donors, and orphans.
  • Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent.
  • All data, including donor and orphan information, is stored securely and used only for AVISA’s intended purposes.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of disputes between AVISA, orphanages, or donors, both parties agree to first seek resolution through mediation.
  • If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved through arbitration under local laws.

11. Amendments

AVISA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or app notifications.
