Thank you for your interest in using AVISA, the platform that supports Africans through our session campaigns! We strive to create a transparent and fair environment for both sponsors and beneficiaries. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and regulations governing your use of the AVISA platform.
Eligibility and User Accounts:

To participate in AVISA, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid email address and/or phone number. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. AVISA reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content in its sole discretion.

Session Campaigns:

AVISA hosts session campaigns at specific times throughout the year. Only approved campaigns will be listed on the platform. Campaign organizers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their campaign information. AVISA does not endorse any campaign or guarantee its success unless the campaign is/was specifically handled by AVISA themselves. You understand that all donations and registrations to a session are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the campaign terms.

Selection Process:

AVISA will select beneficiaries for each campaign based on criteria outlined by us or the campaign organizer. These criteria may include financial need, academic merit, entrepreneurial potential, or community service contributions. The selection process will be conducted by a committee composed of competent and knowledgeable individuals. Campaign rewards to be given to beneficiaries will be managed by AVISA and its date of disbursement will be entirely decided by AVISA. Campaigns that are tied to specific categories that may or may not include the following; scholarships, Business, Vacations, Health. These campaign rewards will be used solely for that specific purpose by beneficiaries unless otherwise stated or decided by AVISA. Campaigns rewards related to the Business category will be entirely managed and held by AVISA unless otherwise stated or decided by AVISA. Businesses started with the rewards gotten from a session campaign will have 15% of its shares and profits given to AVISA. If the Beneficiary does not agree to this, AVISA has the right to take legal actions said Beneficiary and withhold the entirety of the rewards won by said Beneficiary on all session campaigns until an agreement is reached with AVISA. Businesses that are already established but are to benefit from rewards gotten a session campaign are entitled to give AVISA 7% of its shares an profits. If the Beneficiary does not agree to this, AVISA has the right to tale legal actions said Beneficiary and withhold the entirety of the rewards won by said Beneficiary on all session campaigns until an agreement is reached with AVISA. AVISA is has the right to withhold rewards of a beneficiary if that beneficiary was found to have lied or provided false documents or information when registering for a Session Campaign. Beneficiaries will be notified directly by AVISA and announced publicly after the campaign ends.

Use of Donations:

Donations received through AVISA will be used to improve and manage AVISA services. Campaign organizers are responsible for managing and distributing funds to beneficiaries. AVISA may monitor the use of funds to ensure compliance with campaign terms. Any misuse of funds may result in the campaign being terminated and legal action being taken.

Prohibited Activities:

You are prohibited from engaging in any activity that is illegal, fraudulent, or harmful to AVISA, the platform, or any other user. This includes, but is not limited to, making use of fake informations and documents, posting misleading information, spamming, hacking, or attempting to interfere with the operation of the platform. Any violation of these Terms may result in the termination of your validity to register for a session campaign and legal action.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability:

AVISA provides the platform “as is” and without any warranties, express or implied. AVISA is not responsible for any damages or losses arising from your use of the platform, including, but not limited to, technical failures, loss of data, failure of beneficiary businesses or fraudulent activity. You agree to use the platform at your own risk and to hold AVISA harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from your use.

Intellectual Property:

The AVISA name, logo, and all other content on the platform are the property of AVISA and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any of AVISA’s intellectual property without express written permission.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cameroon. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cameroon.

Amendments:

AVISA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms for any changes. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
